Not even a twenty minute spell without a score in the second half knocked them off their stride and a couple of late points from Paul McGarry and Patrick Crowe (who kicked five scores between them) were enough to hold off late rally.The losers will be bitterly disappointed with their performance and the result. They started poorly, never found the form that has taken them to the top of the league table, and too many of their experienced players had offdays.Not for the first time, shortcomings up front cost them dearly in a championship game. They kicked twelve wides, missed at least four very kickable frees, and managed just three scores from play.Other than that, these overpaid guys are fair game for any and all verbal abuse. Most of them make more in one game than the Average Joe does in a week. Hey, if they can't handle the heat, let them go out and search for a "real" job.
